These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ITNowMakmal services, including hands-on IT security labs, virtual practice environments, training materials, and related support. By accessing or using our services you agree to comply with these terms. Services are offered in an informational, educational context and are intended for legitimate cybersecurity training and skills development.

Eligibility
Access to certain services may require registration, compliance with local law, and acceptance of these terms. Users must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable law.
Users must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian where local law permits minors to participate under supervision.
Services must be used lawfully and for legitimate cybersecurity training, research, or defensive purposes. Activities that facilitate harm, unauthorized access to third-party systems, or unlawful distribution of malicious code are prohibited.
ITNowMakmal operates primarily from Malaysia. Access from other jurisdictions may be subject to local legal restrictions, export controls, and licensing requirements. Users are responsible for compliance with laws applicable to their location.
Accounts and access
Some parts of the service require an account. When you create an account you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information. ITNowMakmal may suspend or restrict access for accounts with outdated or false information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Accounts, credentials, and licenses are personal and may not be transferred, sold, or assigned without prior written consent from ITNowMakmal.
If you believe your account has been compromised, notify support immediately at [email protected] so we can take appropriate steps to secure the account and contribute.
ITNowMakmal may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or are associated with unlawful activity. We will notify affected users when practicable.
Services provided
ITNowMakmal provides hands-on cybersecurity practice labs, simulated environments, instructional content, and associated tooling for skill development and defensive training. Labs are intended for controlled, ethical use in training contexts.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features and services at any time. When feasible, we will provide advance notice for material changes affecting ongoing subscriptions or scheduled courses.
Service availability may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, network conditions, or third-party dependencies. We take steps to maintain availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Acceptable use rules
Users must follow these rules when using ITNowMakmal services. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access.
- Do not use lab environments to attack or intrude on systems that you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
- Do not deploy or share malware, ransomware, or other tools intended to cause harm outside approved lab contexts.
- Do not attempt to bypass lab controls, isolation mechanisms, or monitoring implemented for safety and legal compliance.
- Do not harvest personal data from third parties or use the service to facilitate privacy violations.
- Follow any additional rules or lab-specific instructions provided in course materials or by instructors.
- Respect other users: no harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior in shared learning spaces.
- Comply with export controls, local laws, and contractual obligations that apply to cybersecurity tools and content.
User content
Users may submit content to the platform, including configurations, scripts, reports, and forum posts. Such content is subject to these terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to any third-party rights. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
By submitting content you grant ITNowMakmal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, and display the content for the purpose of providing the service and improving educational offerings.
You are responsible for the legality and safety of your content. Do not submit content that contains confidential information, personal data of others without consent, or malicious code intended to escape lab isolation.
We may remove or disable access to user content that violates these terms or poses a legal, security, or safety risk. Users may request removal of their content and we will assess such requests in line with applicable law.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in ITNowMakmal brand, site design, documentation, and core course materials are owned by or licensed to ITNowMakmal. Users must respect these rights and may not copy or redistribute materials without permission.
- Do not reproduce or distribute proprietary course materials, solutions, or proprietary tooling without written permission.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary code or content from ITNowMakmal systems.
- Third-party software included in labs may be subject to separate license terms; comply with those licenses when using such software.
Paid services and billing
Certain ITNowMakmal offerings, including premium labs, instructor-led courses, and subscriptions, are paid services governed by these billing terms.
Prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated. Fees for paid services are set out on the relevant product or registration pages.
Payments may be accepted via supported payment methods on the site. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for all amounts due.
Subscription services renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Users are responsible for cancelling subscriptions through their account settings in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis according to the nature of the service and time elapsed since purchase. Requests for refunds should be sent to [email protected] and will be handled in accordance with our assessment procedures.
Cancel requests for paid services should be submitted through your account or to [email protected]. Cancellation does not retroactively refund fees already incurred, except as determined under the refunds policy.
Users are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed by local authorities in relation to purchases of our services.
We may change prices for services. Existing subscriptions and paid enrollments will be subject to the terms in place at the time of purchase unless otherwise communicated.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access to paid services until outstanding balances are settled.
Disclaimer
Information and training materials provided by ITNowMakmal are for educational purposes and do not constitute professional security or legal advice. Users should apply their own judgement and seek professional advice where necessary.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITNowMakmal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Liability for direct damages is limited to amounts actually paid by the user for the relevant service during the prior 12 months.
Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, and analytics. Such providers may have access to personal data as processors and are bound by contractual obligations to protect that data.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, applicable law, or to protect safety and security. Users may terminate their own accounts by following account deletion procedures.
Upon termination, access to paid content will cease and any ongoing subscriptions will be cancelled. Termination does not relieve users of outstanding payment obligations or liability for past breaches.
Privacy
Collection and use of personal data in relation to these Terms is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
Communications
By creating an account or purchasing services you consent to receive communications related to your account, transactional notices, and service updates. You can manage marketing preferences separately.
Changes to terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Current effective date: 19-01-2026.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Users subject to local legal restrictions should ensure compliance with applicable rules when using the service.
Dispute resolution
Disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
